If you do not currently have a customer newsletter I want to encourage you to make one! They are an easy and free way to stay in contact with your customers. You can send them notices on sales, thank them for their purchase and just offer your consultation services. I know that some of you are not very "computer savy" so I would like to recommend MailChimp.

MailChimp is free up to 2,000 emails a month. It is very powerful and you can create some great looking newsletters! They have online webinars to teach you everything you need to know. I have attached a copy of my latest newsletter for an example of what you can do.

If you try it be sure to let us see!!

IT WOULDNT LET ME SNAPSHOT THE WHOLE THING SO THERE IS 2 IMAGES.

This is my first attempt at attaching anything in this forum so let me know if yall can open it!

I feel like I have alot of information to process and organize for the business to be really sucessful.

My sweet hubby reminded me that my orginal goal was to help our own food storage while making some extra cash, tax breaks and buiding a business.

My biggest problem is I need to have some patience.

How do we get a copy of the SR logo to use on our newsletters? I've been trying to find one to use.

You can get them on your backend under consultant materials. Download the marketing kit file, they are included in there. Also if you go to www.shelfreliance.com/buttons you can find some more images! Hope this helps. Upload a copy of your newsletter when you get it done to share!!

Good luck!

It has been suggested to me that I should offer a service of doing newsletters. I would probably send the same ones I already make, but with your name and info. I can setup a mailchimp account and manage your email list for you. I could either do this completely for you or just while you are learning to do it. I usually send 2 a month. Probably would do a small setup fee for entering in your email address to mailchimp, or you can do it. I could just add you to my newsletter list and when you get one you like you can message me and tell me to send it to your contacts.

Just thinking and wondered if anyone would be interested.

Rena

There is copies of one of my newsletters posted earlier in this forum. Becky Powell always compliments me on them and says that she just doesn't have time to do one. I just wondered if that was the case for some others.

I would be interested, put a big ME on your list. Let me know more details as you need them. I've also been wanting to do a newsletter, but have hesitated at getting started because of time and sort of "where do I start" so I would appreciate your service. Great idea.

I'm still working on my newsletter. Haven't had much time to do that though. I have been in tremedous pain form 12 weeks and just had an MRI and found out that I have a herniated disc between C5-C6. I have to have surgery to have the disc removed and C5-C6 fused.

I'll get it up when I can work on it more.

Hey Friends!

I have been out of pocket lately. It has been a very eventful few weeks around here! My grandfather passed away on Feb 12th and my mother, 2 months later on April 13th. My grandmother has had a rough couple of months. On top of that we have had the worst wildfire in our areas history! Only a few miles away from us over 150,000 acres have burned and 200 homes have been lost. The fires got close enough that we could see a red glow in the horizon and it was raining ash. We packed up our important stuff and left it by the door so we could load it fast if we were evacuated. Our boxes of THRIVE were going to be high on our list to get! I could just imagine spending all this money on our stock to have it go up in smoke! Our little town has helped feed and house around 1300 firefighters and the Red Cross is set up at our Jr. High feeding evacuees. It has been a very humbling week for our community, but through it all there has been such an out pouring of support. There has been so many donations that they are running out of room for them! Us Texans know how to take care of each other!

So why did I tell you all that? I just haven't been doing much SR lately. I felt like it just wasn't the right time to be pushing products when so many of us were worried about even having a home to put a "home store" in! Well, we have gotten several inches of rain (THANK YOU LORD!) in the last few days and the worst of the danger of the fires is over. So I am getting back in the SR frame of mind again!

I will be sending a newsletter in the next few days. If you want to be added to my list so you can see what the newsletters look like, be sure to add your name here, or shoot me an email!

Thanks!! Rena
