Gee, you would think I know that answer....oops.........but I do know that out of the box, the thing works..............it even has a separate on/off button.............so that you don't have to squeeze forever.............squeeze to charge......it lights up as it charges so to speak.............and then use the on off button for continual.......pretty cool..................we also have teh icon, the eureka, and a few others...........the the eureka one (lantern style) is actually pretty cool............SR carries a smaller version but it's hiding under our clearance section.............

Thanks for the tips! The squeeze one you mentioned, how much do you have to squeeze and how long did it last? I bought the crank ones a few years ago and hate them. I'd love to replace them with ones that are easier to use.

So, we've bought many of the flashlights............let's just say it's been 'like a kid in the candy store' concept..............but here's one that is a great add on...........Three LED Squeeze Flashlight......it's just under 3 dollars........doesn't require batteries....squeeze to charge..........pretty simple and we keep them on the back of doors/door knobs...................one we don't really like and is so not worth the money is the Nine LED Flashlight--it's about the same price, doesn't come with batteries, and is --well, just don't buy it, or have your customers buy it....the brightness just isn't there and ....well that's all I say .....................................We have the Icon and it's awesome ....and few others that use regular AA or AAA batteries.
